The Joyo Blue Rain overdrive is a new pedal from the Ironman series of pedals recently released with the flip-down “Ironman” style visor on the front. These pedals are about 1/3 smaller than the Tone City pedals so as expected they run on AC only. Any regular 9v Boss style power supply will work on these pedals.
The Joyo Blue rain is a really vintage-style tone as it generally feels like it rolls out the highs a little which reminds me of a Tubscreamer without the prominent mid hump. This pedal feels very neutral with it on, it doesn’t bump anything up too far or not enough
